Fairmont State women’s acrobatics and tumbling coach Danielle Cutri has been named the 2025-26 Mountain East Conference Women’s Sports Coach of the Year, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Falcons had one of their strongest seasons in program history, finishing 12-1 overall with a 6-0 conference record. Fairmont State won both the MEC’s regular season and championship titles before competing in the 2026 NCATA National Championships.

In the national poll, the team was ranked fifth, tying the highest ranking in program history. Fairmont State won the quarterfinals meet before falling in the NCATA Semifinals.
