Former BHS Standout Bifano to Compete in Annual North-South All-Star Basketball Game

Former Bridgeport High School standout Jack Bifano will have one more opportunity to show off his skills at the high school level as he has been selected to play in the annual North-South All-Star Game.
 
Bifano, who has committed to Marymount, was a Class AAA second-team all-state selection for the Tribe in his senior season after averaging 17.6 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. He also averaged 1.5 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest.
 
He also has already had some success on the all-star circuit as he was named the Game MVP at the Scott Brown Classic in Beckley. Bifano finished with 14 points, five rebounds and a pair of blocked shots to help lead the AAA all-stars past the AA-A all-stars, 113-103.
 
Joining him on the North squad for the North-South game will be three fellow Big 10 Conference players in Fairmont Senior’s Jaelin Johnson and the Robert C. Byrd duo of Bryson Lucas and Gavin Kennedy.
 
Rounding on the North roster are Pendleton County’s Josh Alt, Clay-Battelle’s Mojo Chisler, Williamstown’s Sam Creameans, Ritchie County’s Graden McKinney, Roane County’s Brayden Miller, University’s Ryan Niceler and Pendleton County’s Bailey Thompson.
 
The coaches for the North will be Williamstown’s Scott Sauro and Pendleton County’s Ryan Lambert.
 
The South roster consists of Lincoln County’s John Blankenship, St. Albans’ Jaimelle Claytor, Greenbrier East’s William Gabbert, Woodrow Wilson’s Ben Gilliam, Liberty Raleigh’s Braden Howell, Winfield’s Ethan Kincaid, Tug Valley’s Caleb May, Greenbrier West’s Kaiden Pack, Charleston Catholic’s Aiden Satterfield, Huntington’s Amare Smith, George Washington’s Mason Pinkett, Charleston Catholic’s Zion Suddreth and George Washington’s Alex Yoakum.
 
The coaches for the South are St. Albans’ Bryan England and Greenbrier West’s Jared Robertson.
 
The North-South game will be played at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 18 at the South Charleston Community Center. Prior to the game there will be a foul-shooting contest, 3-point shooting contest and a dunk contest. The skills competitions are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
