Former BHS Standouts Reep, Paulsen Earn First-Team All-MEC Honors; Goff Honorable Mention

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 07, 2025

Prior to the start of the Mountain East Conference Baseball Championship, the MEC announced its 2025 all-conference team and individual postseason honors.

The teams were determined via a vote of the league's 11 head coaches.

Two former Bridgeport High School standouts earned first-team in honors in Fairmont State’s Quintin Reep and West Virginia State’s Nate Paulsen. Additionally, another Fairmont State and former BHS standout, Ryan Goff, earned honorable mention status.

Point Park's Jared Campbell is the 2025 MEC Player of the Year, while Frostburg State ace Patrick Bauer was voted the MEC Pitcher of the Year. West Liberty's Tyler Skeen is this season's Freshman of the Year, and Point Park's Loren Torres has been chosen as the Coach of the Year by his peers.

More information including the complete all-conference team can be seen HERE
