What’s your favorite movie?
The Wolf of Wall Street
 
Who is the best high school athlete you have competed against?
(Former Fairmont Senior standout) Gage Michael, 100 percent. Not only is he a beast on the offensive side of the ball but on the defensive side of the ball he is equally good.
 
Favorite subject in school?
English, I love writing.
 
You have to go into quarantine, what three items do you make sure you have with you?
Water, something easy to cook like chicken or steak and my PlayStation 4.
 
Any pregame superstitions or rituals?
I try to leave my house and get to the field house at the same time every game.
 
What game of your career sticks out the most?
The state championship game (2019) because the adrenaline was going and it was back-and-forth game and just a game that I will never forget.
 
Describe Coach Cole in one word.
Eager
 
You wake up to a foot of snow, do you stay inside and find something to do or go outside and play?
I’m definitely staying inside and playing video games.

Any New’s Years Resolutions or goals for 2021?
Just keep working hard and achieve the goals I’ve set for college football.
 
What music are you listening to before the game to get you fired up?
I try to mix it up a little bit, a little bit of new rap then I go back to old rap and when it gets closer to kickoff I switch to some rock. I try to have the last song I listen to right before we go out the tunnel be Hells Bells by AC/DC.
 
Any secret talents that most people would be surprised to know you have?
I’m a pretty good Madden player. I take pride in that.
 
Who’s the funniest player on the BHS football team?
100 percent it’s J.D. Love, he’s just a comedian.
 
Where’s one place in the world you have never been to that you would like to visit?
Los Angeles
 
Favorite meal?
You can’t go wrong with chicken wings and fries
 
Favorite pro or college athlete?
Julio Jones. I really like how he has a killer mentality on the field but is such a humble person off the field.
 
Favorite pro or college team?
I’m a big Florida Gators fan.
 
2020 was a rough year for everybody, what’s one positive you can take from it?
The offseason for football. Going into my senior year I worked hard. That’s one thing with all the bad things 2020 brought that I can look back on and be proud of.
 
The coolest animal at the zoo?
The polar bear, if there isn’t a polar bear then just bears in general.
 
Most memorable sports moment you have had as a fan?
When I watched the Falcons completely blow the second half of the Super Bowl and I was heartbroken or when Saquon Barkley took the opening kickoff to the house against Ohio State a few years ago.
 
What’s one thing it seems like everybody you know likes but you can’t stand?
Netflix … I’m more of a Hulu guy.
 
The best thing on TV right now is?
I’m watching a lot of old shows right now and I’m watching a lot of Drake and Josh and that’s my all-time favorite show.
 
What is the most important thing being an athlete at BHS has taught you?
The hard-working aspect. It teaches you about the real world and how you need a hard-working attitude.
 
There’s a young kid in the community just getting into football, what advice do you give him or her?
Don’t listen to people who tell you, you can’t do something. Just keep working in silence and prove them wrong. You can do anything you want, be anything you want if you work at it.
