Cody Sharp he was a pitcher at Spring Valley and now at Marshall.

The order in which I put on my jersey.
 
You have to go into quarantine, what three items do you make sure you have with you?
My phone, a bat bag and my Xbox.
 
What meet of your career sticks out the most?
The semifinals my freshman year when I hit a walk-off to send our team to the state title game.

What’s the most exciting part about this time of the year?
Starting to get into some good weather.

I’d say hitting.
 
2020 was a rough year for everybody, what’s one positive you can take from it?
I was able to get into the gym and get stronger and faster. I think a lot of the guys did that and it shows with our hitting this year.
 
The coolest animal at the zoo?
A monkey
 
Most memorable sports moment you have had as a fan?
When Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a homer off Trevor Bauer and covered his eye.
 
What’s one thing it seems like everybody you know likes but you can’t stand?
Sizzling bacon sunflower seeds. I don’t like them.

What is the most important thing being an athlete at BHS has taught you?
It’s taught me how to get through adversity and that has a lot to do with the great coaching we have.
 
There’s a young kid in the community just getting into baseball, what advice do you give him or her?
Practice as much as you can, practice really does make a big difference.
