What’s your favorite movie?
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
 
Who is the best high school athlete you have competed against?
Khori Miles (former Robert C. Byrd multi-sport standout)
 
Favorite subject in school?
A lot of people don’t like it but I think history is super interesting.
 
You have to go into quarantine, what three items do you make sure you have with you?
My phone, a mask and food.
 
Any pregame superstitions or rituals?
My Dad gave me one of his Marine Corp medallions and I always touch it before every game.
 
What game or your career sticks out the most?
We played Preston my junior year, I was just coming off my quad injury. There was this kid on the other team that was the funniest guy ever. He was making our whole team, whole bench laugh. That game has just always stuck with me.
 
Describe Coach Dumas in one word.
Bald
 
What three fictional Christmas characters do you have over for Christmas dinner?
Rudolph, The Heat Miser and Frosty the Snowman
 
Any New’s Years Resolutions or goals for 2021?
It’s coming close to the end of the recovery from my broken collarbone. I’m trying to get back into the shape I was before the break or better shape than I was before the break.
 
What music are you listening to before the game to get you fired up?
I usually listen to people’s life stories but in a rap. It kind of gets me motivated to see how those people have lived their lives. It kind of fuels me. Somebody like NF.
 
Any secret talents that most people would be surprised to know you have?
I can clap with my mouth. I can use my hand and do something with my lips and it makes this really loud clapping sound.
 
Who’s the funniest player on the Bridgeport boys soccer team?
Everyone is pretty funny but Paul Hong just because he is so quiet and every time Coach talks to him he just completely blocks him out.  
 
Where’s one place in the world you have never been to that you would like to visit?
I’ve always wanted to go to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
 
Favorite meal?
Blue crab and shrimp.
 
Favorite pro or college athlete?
Definitely has to be Pele.
 
Favorite pro or college team?
Paris Saint-Germain.
 
2020 was a rough year for everybody, what’s one positive you can take from it?
I got to spend a lot more time with my family.
 
The coolest animal at the zoo?
The rhino.
 
Most memorable sports moment you have had as a fan?
It was pretty awesome when the football team won the (2019) state championship.
 
What’s one thing it seems like everybody you know likes but you can’t stand?
Tacos, I hate tacos.
 
The best thing on TV right now is?
Football.
 
What is the most important thing being an athlete at BHS has taught you?
Compassion. Being able to have the opportunity to compete for your school and meet new people gives you a whole different side of compassion.
 
There’s a young kid in the community just getting into soccer, what advice do you give him or her?
Be patient. All skills come with hard work. You can’t get mad at yourself if you can’t get it in the first week or two weeks. It’s taken me 17 years to get to where I am today so patience is the number one thing you have to have.
