Mountain East Conference Enters Multi-Year Deal for Free Video Streaming Platform for Member Schools

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on July 15, 2026

The Mountain East Conference (MEC) announced an exclusive multi-year agreement with Visaic, Inc. as its strategic partner for Mountain East TV, a branded video streaming platform that will carry more than 1,200 events annually across all 12 MEC member institutions, as well as coverage of MEC championship events. Accessible at mountaineast.tv, via mobile apps, and on Connected TV (CTV) devices, including Amazon Fire TV and Roku, the platform will deliver live events, on-demand video, and fan engagement tools to viewers worldwide, beginning with the 2026-27 academic year.

Utilizing Visaic’s technologies, Mountain East TV is engineered to deliver a premium, pro-grade experience — combining broadcast-quality streaming capabilities with the analytics and monetization tools traditionally reserved for major professional leagues.

“Partnering with Visaic is a major step forward in how we deliver the Mountain East Conference experience to our fans across our 23 championship sports," said MEC Commissioner Reid Amos. "Every live event remains free to watch, and fans who want more can unlock premium features, including highlight clipping, social media sharing, and unlimited access to archived games. The platform also provides our conference and campuses with powerful new marketing and fan engagement tools. As importantly, Mountain East TV gives us a much stronger platform to showcase our student-athletes, deliver greater value to our corporate partners, and connect students, alumni, and supporters of our 12 member institutions wherever they are.”

Mountain East TV will operate as a hybrid streaming service: all live content will be free to view, while subscriptions unlock an enhanced experience including unlimited DVR and archive access, tools to clip, save, and publish highlights, and reduced ads. The platform also features built-in support for advertising and sponsorship integrations across both tiers.

“The Mountain East Conference is exactly the kind of forward-thinking organization that Visaic was built to serve,” Kanaan Jemili, Ph.D., CEO of Visaic Inc., stated. “The MEC deserves a platform that grows with them. Mountain East TV will bring premium, data-driven fan engagement to every school in the conference, and we’re proud to help set a new benchmark for what NCAA Division II athletics looks like in the streaming era.”
