Photos: BHS Tops Philip Barbour in 12 Innings, 4-3

The Bridgeport High School baseball team improved to 23-8 with a 4-3 victory in 12 innings against Philip Barbour on Tuesday in a regional tune-up game.
Teams that are still alive in regional tournaments are allowed to play additional games against other teams that are still alive this week before the best of three regional championship series’ begin next week.
Bridgeport will face Frankfort in the Class AAA Region II finals with the first game set for Tuesday, May 27 at BHS.
Philip Barbour and South Harrison will beat in the Class AA Region II finals.
Carson Currey and Jack Gould each had RBIs for the Indians and Jacob Stavrakis hit a triple and scored a run.
Scott Why picked up the win for BHS out of the bullpen.
