Photos: Indians Down Lincoln, 7-0, in Class AAA Region II Action; BHS Improves to 21-8

Bridgeport's Jacob Stavrakis pitched a gem and led Bridgeport at the plate as the top-seeded Indians defeated Lincoln, 7-0, Wednesday in Class AAA Region II action.
The Indians will next play on Friday or Saturday. The Cougars will face the winner between Hampshire and Berkeley Springs and the winner of that game will take on Bridgeport and have to win twice.
Stavrakis threw a complete-game four-hitter, allowing just one walk with seven strikeouts. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and three RBIs.
Owen Sondericker, Michael Romano and Kasen Baun all added two hits for BHS which improves to 21-8. Romano also stole two bases and drove in one. Sondericker had an RBI and scored twice.
