Bridgeport's hopes to win back-to-back Class AAA state championships came to an end last night at Wayne Jamison Field as Chapmanville took a 33-27 win against the Indians.
BHS ends the year at 11-1. Chapmanville moves on to the semifinals and is now 12-0.
The Indians led 21-13 at the intermission.
