Photos: West Virginia University Volleyball Squad Gets Historic Victory against No. 19 BYU in Morgantown

The West Virginia University volleyball team (13–2, 1–2 Big 12) earned a landmark win on Friday night, defeating No. 19 BYU in a five-set thriller (26–24, 14–25, 25–23, 25–19, 15–12). This victory marks the program's fifth win against a ranked opponent in its history and the first-ever home win against a ranked team. It is also the first victory over a ranked opponent since 2021.
The Mountaineers will return to action on Wednesday, October 8, hosting Cincinnati at 6 p.m. in Morgantown, West Virginia, at the Hope Coliseum. The teams last met on September 27 in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the Bearcats claimed a 3–1 victory.
