Veigel, Randolph Named All-Big 10 Conference First Team Selections; Rajjoub, Wolfe on Second Team

A pair of Bridgeport High School standouts were named to the all-Big 10 Conference volleyball first team that is voted on by the league’s coaches.

The conference player of the year was Izzy Knotts from Philip Barbour. Grafton’s Nat Clemm was chosen as the league’s coach of the year.
Bridgeport also had a pair of players earning second team status. Senior Salam Rajjoub and junior Kennedy Wolfe earned the nod from the coaches.
Joining Knotts from PBHS on the first team was Finley Carpenter. Others selected to the first team include Reagan Mason of Buckhannon-Upshur, Annie Musgrove of East Fairmont, Maura O’Neill of Elkins, Kenna Keener of Grafton, Eliza Bush and Lila Fealy of Lewis County, Layla Knight of Preston, and Maddie McGill of Robert C. Byrd.
The rest of the second team includes Avery Hamer and Alivia Cougar of Buckhannon-Upshur, Madilynn Kyle of Fairmont Senior, Liya Clemm of Grafton, Aundrea Rockwell and Sadie Adams of Lincoln, Kinlee Hess of North Marion, Kayla Baker and Gracie Wolfe of Philip Barbour, and Julia Harrold of Robert C. Byrd.
