Yes, growing up in the 70s and 80s, Henry was a fixture at every Mountaineer game and every big high school game. He would show up at away games and we all assumed someone must be bringing him and taking care of him. We thought he was funny but no one bothered him. But he was extremely knowledgeable on sports and was a walking factbook of local sports history. He probably couldn't tell you what year it was, but ask him who won the 1971 Bridgeport/Victory football game? "16-7 Bridgeport, yup yup" Henry, who'd WVU play in the NIT basketball championship in 1942? "Western Kentucky, yup, 47-45."
