Authentic Ethnic Food Franchise with Operations in Several States Comes to North Central West Virginia

WDTV is reporting that a new Indian restaurant has opened in Morgantown, with the owner saying the goal is to make authentic Indian food approachable for everyone.
Tikka Shack Indian Grub opened Feb. 16 and has been in business for about five months. Main Street Morgantown and the Morgantown Area Partnership celebrated the opening.
Owner Ankur Patel said his family has called Morgantown home for more than a decade and is excited to bring a franchise location to the community.
“Our goal is there’s something excited, I mean, an authentic flavor while making the Indian food approachable and accessible for everyone,” Patel said. “I’m incredibly excited to share this experience with all of you. Thank you for being here, for celebrating with us.”
Patel said he is grateful for the community’s support since opening.
