This past weekend, a popular national chain offering healthy food options opened its first location in West Virginia. And it just so happens to
be in North Central West Virginia.

Playa Bowls, a restaurant chain serving healthy bowls, smoothies, juices, and more, is now open in Morgantown. The chain is known for its tropical bowls made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
On Saturday, Feb. 1, the Suncrest Towne Centre’s newest business greeted its first customers. And if the line waiting outside the door was any indication, things are going to go well.
The chain, which has 200-plus locations, is known for its tropical bowls made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Along with the aforementioned items, they also offer oatmeal, soups, and coffee.
The items are made with “superfoods.” Some of those items include acai, pitaya, coconut, kale, banana, oatmeal, mango, and more. Toppings can also be added to dishes.
The actual address is1042 Suncrest Towne Centre, Morgantown. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
