National Restaurant Chain in Business for Decades Opening Newest Location in Neighboring County

By Jeff Toquinto on May 07, 2026

A national restaurant chain founded 70 years ago has officially opened its latest site after recently holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Jersey Mike's Subs, a fast-casual submarine sandwich chain founded in 1956, kicked things off with the ribbon cutting last week, on Wednesday, April 29. The new location is in Marion County in Middletown Commons.

This is not the first Jersey Mike’s in North Central West Virginia. There is also a location just minutes from Bridgeport in Clarksburg’s Eastpointe Plaza.

Known for the subs, Jersey Mike’s cuts their meats and cheeses per order to go on choices of in house, daily made breads that include white, wheat, and rosemary parmesan. There are multiple sandwiches, including hot and cold choices among the regular and the 15-inch subs.

Jersey Mike’s founded on the Jersey Shore has thousands of locations across the United States. Estimates have it at more than 3,300 sites with more locations being added.

The new local site is situated at 229 Middletown Loop in White Hall in Middletown Commons. The phone number is 681-402-1453.
