NewPointe Business Named No. 1 in Brand Nationally

According to WDTV, Ashley HomeStore in Clarksburg has been named the “Ashley Store of the Year,” beating out nearly 800 other stores across the nation.
Profits at the Clarksburg location rose more than 30 percent in 2025 alone.
Store leadership said the award takes second place to serving the community.
“When we sell a living room set, sofa, loveseat, recliner — we’re not just selling furniture, we’re selling the experience. That’s where memories are made; that’s where you play Monopoly around the cocktail table. Just putting smiles on people’s faces. Customer experience is one of the biggest things we focus on here,” said Samuel Tucker, manager of Ashley HomeStore.
Owner Bob Young said he has pride in bringing the award to West Virginia.
“We’ve got a lot of pride in bringing this award to West Virginia. Sometimes we get overlooked a little as a state, but they could not ignore the incredible success of this store, and I’m glad to bring it to West Virginia,” Young said.
Ashley Home Furniture is located on Emily Drive in Clarksburg and is open Monday through Saturday.
