Off Ramp, On Ramp of U.S. Route 50 in Clarksburg to be Closed for Bridge Construction Until Summer 2026

There will be a road closure on the US 50, Second Street on ramp, westbound, starting on 7 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2025, running through mid to late Summer 2026, for construction of the new bridge structure over US 50, eastbound and westbound at the Second Street ramp. This will be a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week closure.

Additionally, there will be a closure on the US 50, Second Street ramp, eastbound, starting on 7 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, through 7 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025, for construction of the new bridge structure at the Second Street ramp. This will be a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week, closure.

Alternate routes for travel include: Joyce Street exit and Chestnut Street exit. This will be a Road Closure and will be maintained with flaggers.

Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.

Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
