Paving Project on City's Trail System Under Way with Contractor to Join Work Tuesday; Expect Closures

FROM THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT
Please be aware that contractors will be paving parts of the Bridgeport City Park Trails for the next several weeks.
The work will take place along the Bridgeport City Park Trail around the City Park Complex and continue all the way to Virginia Avenue.
Work began this week by the city and continue for approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting. Contractors will begin working Tuesday, June 1, according to CIty Engineer Beth Fox.
During this time, sections of the trail may be closed for short periods of time and residents are asked to use extra caution when utilizing the Bridgeport City Parks Trails.
