can be lively and fun – and downright hilarious. That’s the idea behind 3 Redneck Tenors coming to Robert C. Byrd (RCB) High School in Clarksburg on Friday, March 9, as part of the second Grand Performances Series sponsored by the Cultural Foundation of Harrison County.

The members of the trio are consummate entertainers and skilled opera singers who have taken their talent into new areas, including the area of family entertainment and comedy. The 3 Redneck Tenors was founded in 2006 by operatic singer, Matthew Lord, who designed the production with music arranged by Craig Bohmler. Mr. Lord is joined by two other classically trained artists, Blake Davidson and Jonathan Fruge, who round out this renown trio.
Country, Opera, Gospel, Broadway and Pop will be featured by the trio, as they segue seamlessly from one genre to another, sometimes with full costume changes. One reviewer described their show as “Duck Dynasty meets Carnegie Hall.”
According to the group’s promotional package, the show is intended to be high energy and engaging for people of all ages and musical tastes. It includes all styles of American music. “These artists offer the best of many musical genre and demonstrate the excellence of America’s cultural education,” offered Dolores Yoke, CHCF Board Member. “But in the show, you’ll experience the fine arts presented by artists with a flair for performance.”
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with $25 tickets available at the door. RCB High School is completely handicapped accessible.
