Fourteen Bridgeport High School students participated in WVU Honors Orchestra at the WVU Creative Arts Center in Morgantown.  Students were nominated by their teacher, and they auditioned Thursday evening, February 23, for their placement.  Friday, February 24, was a full day of orchestra rehearsal and sectionals with WVU Music Department Faculty.  Saturday, February 25, students had one last rehearsal with members of the WVU Symphony Orchestra wind, brass, and percussion sections before performing a concert for their family and friends.

This opportunity gives students a chance to learn and perform alongside other great strings students from West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
