ACT 2 Theatre Company Presents the Last Five Years; Shows Begin in March

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on February 07, 2018 via

The ACT 2 Theatre Company will present the THE LAST FIVE YEARS, a musical written and composed by Jason Robert Brown, in March.
The story, told entirely in song, will be performed by Sarah Nale and Dustin Jones. The story is about a couple's relationship over a period of five years from the first meeting until the final breakup. What is unusual about the show is the way the story is told. Catherine (Nale) begins the story at the end and tells it in reverse while the story as told by Jamie (Jones) is told from the beginning to the end. The two performers are on stage together in only one scene, the wedding.
Director Tyler Kovar and Musical Director Joshua Stubbs have cast two stellar voices to perform these roles. Sarah Nale holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a Masters of Music from Shenandoah Conservatory, and is ABD for her Doctorate of Musical Arts from West Virginia University, all in vocal performance. Justin Jones attended West Virginia University and recently received rave reviews as Donkey in the Buckhannon Community Theatre's production of Shrek.
The show will be performed at the McCrory Marketplace Great Hall, 318 West Main Street downtown Clarksburg and will run March 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 at 7:30 pm and March 4 and 11 at 2 p.m.
Reservations are recommended by emailing   or by voice message to 304-918-0010. Patrons should include name, date they will attend, number in their party, and an email or phone number.
All seats are $12 and are payable at the door.
