There was a lot going on at Monday night's Bridgeport City Council meeting held at Bridgeport Conference Center. Two city residents advocated for the continuation of City Manager Kim Haws' contract, virtual plans for the Indoor Sports & Recreation Complex were shared and three athletic teams were honored for their stellar seasons. After a short break - during which time attendees enjoyed cake to celebrate the new complex - Council voted on a handful of business matters.
