By Dick Duez on March 11, 2018 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This is a view Inside Furbee’s Drug Store back in 1952. Carl Furbee, Sr. used give out gifts by Santa  before Christmas at his shop located in the Peshak Utt Building on East Main Street. The boy in the middle with the hat oon is Bill Miller and the one on the right is Jim Trippett and they are waiting for Santa. This photo provided by Tom Kinney.
Although the date isn't known, this photo from several decades ago is in Taylor County and is taken in the area that would have been the location of the storied Four Corners Restaurant, which can partially be seen to the left, looking west toward Bridgeport on Route 50.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard
