Time Travel: Main Street Gas and Restaurant from 1964 and Building the Grafton Dam Back in 1935

By Dick Duez on January 28, 2018 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This location may look familiar as today it is the home of the Main Street Dairy Queen. In this 1960s photos, the building was home to Jenny's Restaurant and the lot prior to it heading on U.S. Route 50 West was the Keystone Gasoline Station.
This photo shows that it was taken on March 26,1935. The photo is of work being done on the Grafton Dam on the Tygart River. Many utilize the facility today in neighboring Taylor County.
