Time Travel: School Patrol Trip with Senator Robert Byrd and Route 50 Work in Clarksburg from 1960

By Dick Duez on November 26, 2017 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Although not certain of the date, the guess is that this photo is from the 1970s. The photo shows Tom Kinney and John Diamond in the upper right during this school safety patrol trip to Washington, DC. The man sitting in the front row is the late U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd.
this photo from 1960 shows work being done on U.S. Route 50 in Clarksburg. It is the bridge between the West Virginia Avenue exit (North View) and the exit and on ramps to Route 50 from Chestnut Street.
