Summer Reading begins Thursday, June 8, 2017! Participants will explore six eras in American history with extensive reading lists and interactive programs – all part of the library’s “Once Upon a Time” theme!

 

Local drumming talent Anthony Douglas will provide a drum clinic at the library from 4p.m. to 6 p.m. Douglas has over twenty-five years of experience and knowledge of the history of the craft. Drumming eases anxiety and burns calories! Join us to learn more!

 

Festivities continue with a special celebration of the American Revolution provided by the WV Society Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard! WVSSAR members will provide a musket demonstration, explanation of historical artifacts, presentation of the colors, and more from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
