Despite the rain - heavy at times, but subsiding just in time for the countdown and subsequently lighting of the tree - thousands poured into Main Street Thursday night for the city's annual Light Up Night festivities. Many say there's something magical about the event, which this year featured an exceptional fireworks show. See a second gallery of photos below.
