One Flown to Ruby Memorial Following Sunday Afternoon Shooting in Taylor County

UPDATE: According to the most recent  report on WDTV, the weekend shooting in Taylor County was self-inflicted and no foul play was suspected. Due to that, WDTV is reporting that no further information will be released on the incident.

ORIGINAL: Although details are limited, officials with Harrison County 911 have confirmed that there was a Sunday afternoon shooting in Taylor County. Taylor County's calls are handled from the Nutter Fort location of the Harrison 911.
 
According to the 911 log, the call for the shooting went out at 3:03 p.m. The incident took place on Sapp Road, which is located in the White Day section of Taylor County. The log also states that one person was taken to Ruby Memorial via HealthNet.
 
Responding to the scene were members of the Grafton Fire Department, the Taylor County Emergency Squad, and the West Virginia State Police. Visit WDTV's Web site for future updates by clicking HERE.
 
This marks the second serious incident in a week in Taylor County. Earlier last week, a man stabbed two individuals in Taylor County and fled. He was eventually arrested in Bridgeport. Click HERE for that story.
