Bridgeport High School volleyball tryouts begin Monday, Aug. 7. Those interested in playing for the Lady Indians and who have at least a 2.0 grade point average should report to the BHS gym 7 a.m. Monday for a two-hour morning session, followed by an afternoon session scheduled for 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, practice will take place at the same times. Wednesday hours are 3:30-6 p.m. only.

 

Girls must have a physical dated June 1 or after to participate in try-outs. All candidates must be dressed and ready for practice, attire including knee pads and volleyball shoes. Athletes are also to bring running shoes to each session as there will be some running, weight lifting and playing, coaching staff said. Coaches Ali Curry and Grant Burton ask that all girls arrive in time for all sessions, ready to practice with a good attitude.
