Grizzlies Pick WVU's Carter at No. 32 in NBA Draft

West Virginia University guard Jevon Carter was chosen by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 32nd pick in the 2018 NBA draft. Carter was one of the first picks in the second round as the second pick.
The two-time National Defensive Player of the Year is WVU's all-time leader in steals. He was a first-team all-Big 12 selection this year as the Mountaineers once again made it to the Sweet 16.
The general manager of Memphis is Chris Wallace. Wallace is a native of Buckhannon.
