Hundreds of Players from Three States to Converge on Harrison County for Weekend Baseball Tournament

Father and Son Tournaments is hosting a major travel baseball tournament to be held at the Bridgeport Recreation Complex, Bridgeport High School and Robert C. Byrd high school this weekend, May 25th, May 26th, and May 27th. The 7th Annual BRIDGEPORT BRACKET BASH includes a 47 team field broken into 6 age brackets with teams competing in each of 9U,10U, 12U, 13U, 14U & 15U divisions.
Admission is $3 per day and those under 12 are admitted free. Residents of the community are invited to come out and watch a little or a lot of youth baseball as 88 games will be played between Friday’s 5pm start through Sunday evening’s six championship games. Schedule, game results and standings will be posted to www.fatherandsontournaments.com throughout the weekend for up-to-date information on the tournament.
The slate for the tournament includes Friday games beginning at 5 p.m., Saturday games beginning at 8 a.m., and Sunday games starting at 8 a.m. and playing toward the championship games in each division. Each team will play two games, based on those results, then be seeded for a single elimination format ending with our bracket champions. This is a non-sanctioned event and the participants are travel baseball teams from Three states.
