Photos: Sectional Championship Postponed Due to Rain; Elkins Winning 8-5

Bridgeport and Elkins squared off for what could have been a sectional championship for the Indians Wednesday evening. Bridgeport jumped to an early lead against Elkins, but slowly gave up the advantage. Elkins eventually went ahead 8-5 in the top of the sixth inning.
Storms came into the area and postponed the game until Wednesday. The game will be resumed in the sixth inning Wednesday at 4:30pm.
If Bridgeport wins, it will secure the sectional championship. If Tigers win the first game, they will immedatily play another game for the sectional championship Wednesday night.
