WVU's Holgorsen Announces Another Signee - a Florida Running Back - to 2013 Class

West Virginia University football coach Dana Holgorsen has announced that Jacky Marcellus, a 5-8, 175-pound running back from Immokalee High School in Immokalee, Fla., has signed a national letter of intent and grant-in-aid to attend West Virginia and play football for the 2013 season.
 
Here is a brief biography: Two-year starter and four-year letter winner for coach Jerrod Ackley at Immokalee High … rushed for 374 yards and two scores as a senior with 25 receptions for 251 yards and two touchdowns before having knee surgery … helped team to an 11-4 record, district and regional championships and the state’s 5A championship game … running back MVP of the National Underclassmen (NUC) Five-Star Showcase in Orlando designed to identify America’s top juniors … rushed for 691 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior, while catching 34 passes for 747 yards and seven touchdowns … also contributed 15 tackles and three interceptions on defense …  honorable mention all-state as a junior … ranked No. 24 on the Orlando Sentinel Florida Top 100 … three-star rating from rivals, Scout and ESPN … ranked as the No. 18 all-purpose back by rivals … also offered by Cincinnati, Minnesota, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
 
With the signing of Marcellus, West Virginia now has added 26 members to its roster, seven as mid-year enrollees in Jan. 18 on national signing day on Feb. 6 and signed Marcellus today.
