Former Clarksburg Resident and Wife Reopen Iconic Aquarium Lounge Restaurant in Marion County

Jon Duarte and his wife Erica are officially in the restaurant business. And the couple are in it with a bang as they have reopened the iconic Aquarium Lounge in Fairmont.
Jon Duarte was born and raised in Clarksburg and is the brother of Bridgeport's Scott Duarte, who handles the Bridgeport Conference Center 
and Mia Margherita and Mia Market at Charles Pointe. While that is a culinary connection, according to an article in the Times West Virginian, it is Erica Duarte who has the background on the cooking front.

The East Fairmont alumna is a 1999 Pittsburgh School of Culinary Arts graduate. The couple lived in Orlando, FL and Raleigh, NC before moving back to Fairmont in 2006.
Now, they are deeply embedded in the community thanks to opening a dining establishment that traces its roots back to 1972.
