Wide Variety of Constantly Changing Menu Items the Norm at New Restaurant Just North of Bridgeport

For those visiting Bridgeport who have already sampled the city's fare or those who are residents of the city and beyond looking for a trip for a new culinary experience, here's the latest edition of WBOY's Restaurant Road Trip. And this one is north of Bridgeport; just off Interstate 79.

FROM WBOY

Right in the heart of Fairmont lies Amy's Grill House. A fairly new restaurant that specializes in, well, whatever you want.

"Cause everybody wants something different. That's what we say too, if we don't have it on our menu and we have the ingredients you can ask us and we can make it," said Stayci Butler, owner.

The restaurant is a little over a year old. Its original concept is inspired by Butler's mother-in law.

"She passed away, we decided to name it after her. We worked a lot together in the kitchen, she taught me a lot of her recipes," Butler said.

And there are a lot of recipes because at Amy's it's important to switch things up.

"We're trying to do something different," Butler said. "We're not just trying to stick with the same mold of the same thing all the time. We just want to keep lower prices so people can afford to come in here."

The low prices in addition to a sense of community keep customers coming back.

"It's good quality food at a very reasonable price, I like coming here. And everybody that works here lives in the same community. It's a community thing, why I want to support it as well," said Joseph Douglas, customer.
