Co-Starring Dean Cain and Taryn Manning, Several New JC Films Projects in Production; Extra Opportunities Available

Since filming in Bridgeport and surrounding communities, JC Films has produced several successful message-bearing films – some which have streamed millions of times on Amazon Prime.
Following “Megan’s Christmas Miracle,” “A Promise to Astrid,” “Zombie High School,” “Child of the King” and “Dispatched,” the film company has several new movies in the works, including a half dozen currently or soon-to-be in production.
These new films all feature the talent of actor Dean Cain, as well as a new face to the JC Films family – Taryn Manning of the hit drama Netflix series, “Orange is the New Black.”
“We’re excited to have Taryn on board,” said JC Films President Jason Campbell. “Known for portraying Tiffany in ‘Orange is the New Black,’ she a very gifted, successful actress. She is also a born-again Christian she will be quite an asset to our team, appearing in several of our upcoming faith-inspired projects.”
Manning plays the title role in “Nun Nancy,” a story of divine intervention and divine appointment. The film follows the heartfelt ministry of a passionate woman of God who served the 
inner city of Baltimore disguised as a bartender so she could more effectively share God’s love.

As do several other JC Films projects, “Nun Nancy” features Tim Goodwin, Becky Rosser, Michael Sigler, Kathy Sanders, Katherine Shaw and Gary Lee Vincent, among others.
Production begins this month.
Starring Cain, Manning and Luke Schroder – son of actor Ricky Schroder - “Break Every Chain” is a dynamic police film which tells a story of hope and self-worth.
“’Break Every Chain’ is about celebrating our heroes and showing appreciation to law enforcement,” Campbell said. “Let’s face it. Police officers see the innermost of our dark and fallen world. This film uniquely and courageously depicts those realities.”
Production starts in September.
“Light Up Night” will not only feature Bridgeport’s annual movie-like tree lighting event, but also tell a modern-day biblical story of Ruth.
“After her husband dies, Ruth travels with her mother-in-law, Naomi, back to the family farm in Bridgeport, West Virginia,” Campbell said. “While Ruth tries to save the farm and battle against a new recreation center being built nearby, her unique charm catches the eye of Bridgeport Mayor Boaz ‘Bo’ Perez.”
Bo will be played by Cain while Shaw and Kathy Patterson will star as Ruth and Naomi, respectively. The storyline is based loosely on Campbell’s relationship with Heather Mudrick. Two years ago, she offered her dance studio and her home for the filming of “Megan’s Christmas Miracle.” Shortly after losing her husband to a tragic accident, Mudrick’s July 2018 encounter with Campbell was her first. Their relationship grew and flourished. They were married in July of 2020.
Though some filming took place last month, the majority of production will take place in November/December.

This movie basically takes place in a Convent and Bar. Please consider being a part of this movie as a Nun or Bar Customer. The film has a wonderful message and with Taryn Manning playing the lead, we think this film will be a hit. Lots of screen time for Nuns and Bar Customers.
NUNS (Multiple Scenes)
Date/Time: August 17 – 18 (most of the day). THEN, August 22nd @ 10AM – Noon.
