Indians No. 5 in Latest SSAC Ratings for Class AAA; Five Big 10 Schools in Class AA Top 16

The latest batch of WVSSAC Football Ratings are out and Bridgeport has climbed to No. 5 in Class AAA.
The SSAC Ratings are used to determine the playoff field for all three classes. The Top 16 in each class at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs.
Spring Valley (5-0) is the only remaining undefeated team in Class AAA and the Timberwolves are the new No. 1
Martinsburg (5-1) is No. 2, Musselman (4-1), who Bridgeport plays in a few weeks is at No. 3. Parkersburg South (5-1), who Bridgeport defeated last Friday, 28-20, fell from No. 1 to No. 4
Another future Bridgeport opponent, Princeton (3-1) is No. 11 and another former Bridgeport opponent, Morgantown (3-2) is No. 16.
In Class AA, Scott (6-0) is the new No. 1 rated team. Five Big 10 Conference schools are in the Top 16 with North Marion (5-1) at No. 4, Fairmont Senior (4-2) at No. 11, East Fairmont (3-2) and Philip Barbour (3-2) are tied for No. 13 and Lincoln (3-2) is No. 15.
Liberty (3-2) is the first team out at No. 17.
In Class A, there are still 11 undefeated teams led by Williamstown (5-0) at No. 1. South Harrison (3-2), coached by former BHS all-stater Brett Hathaway, is No. 16.
