Photography Has Given BHS Alumna Career, a Husband and Now a Trip Home to Share Her Talents

Between cheerleading, DECA and the beginning of social media, Janelle Moyer Vandetta was in her share of pictures in the early 2000s.   The 2003 BHS graduate never imagined, however, that she would be the one behind the lens.  She also never could have predicted that her career in photography would lead her to the love of her life.

After completing a degree in Engilsh at West Virginia University, Vandetta began expanding her creative skills, tinkering with photography.  She had always been great with children and wanted to explore a career path that allowed her to capture memories for families. After word got out how talented she was, she opened her own photography business, Bellia Photography, in 2009.

A few years later, while photographing a wedding, she met her now husband, Greg Vandetta. The duo was featured on an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters when they relocated to Huntersville, North Carolina.   With their one-year-old daughter now in the picture, Vandetta has no shortage of subjects on which to hone her skills.

With nearly a decade of professional experience behind her and an impressive portfolio of photos online, Vandetta will be returning back to the Mountain State to offer Christmas Mini Photography Sessions on November 10,11,12, and 13 at the Ramada Inn in Morgantown.  No appointments are necessary and walk-ins are welcome from 9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. each day.

The session lasts 15-20 minutes and clients will receive 20 high-resolution, edited photos by digital download.  Children, pets and entire families are encouraged to take this opportunity to capture the holidays of 2016.  The session is $80 for up to two children and $100.00 for three or more children or additional family members.  All props and backgrounds will be provided.  Additional images and information can be found on Bellia Photography’s Facebook page or by calling 304-282-5635.
