Read on for six locations that boast settings as pleasing to the palate as their menus.

 

One of the locations is the Wonder Bar on Bridgeport Hill Road between Bridgeport and Clarksburg. It is owned by Bridgeport businessman Daniel Watts.  Here is what the wvtourism.com Web site had to say about it:

 

"Since first opening in 1946, this dining destination has added a sprawling patio and comforting fire-pit to its menu. Thankfully, the tasty meals have stayed the same. Pair some tender ribeyes and a endless list of vine wines with the vast scenic views of the town’s hills and valleys."
