Dr. Mike Hess of the Bridgeport High School Alumni Band reminds members - and those who would like to become members - that Bridgeport Homecoming is right around the corner and that the band plans to make a memorable appearance at both the Wed., Sept. 17 parade and the Fri., Sept. 19 pregame show. 

 

"We will be having practice Tuesday night, Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bridgeport Middle School band room," he said. "Drummers need to be there as we will be practicing a new cadence for Friday night." 

 

Alumni band member Michael Burge will be providing music and recordings for individual practice prior to Sept. 16, Hess said. 

 

Drums and other instruments are available to borrow for the Bridgeport Homecoming activities. Hess hopes to see a large number of alumni - both instrumentalists and front line members - out for Homecoming 2014.
