By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 21, 2019 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

A sure sign that spring is here is the sound of the baseball bat on the ball. And it's prominent throughout the state and right here in Bridgeport.

For those that don't know, Fairmont State University plays its home baseball games at the Bridgeport Recreation Complex. The Mountain East Conference team not only has several Bridgeport High School alums competing on the squad, they also face opponents with former Indians on them as well.
