Bridgeport's Brandon LeRoy Works with Emmy Award-Winner Jamie Peck to Produce First Album

Still busy with his career as a structural engineer, 2011 Bridgeport High School graduate Brandon LeRoy continues to pursue his vocal talents and he has just released a recording project – his first – titled “For You.”

Leroy worked with Emmy Award-winning composer and producer Jamie Peck – who formerly worked with West Virginia’s own country music superstar Brad Paisley. The album includes LeRoy’s most popular vocal and instrumental hits and encompasses various genres he specializes in as a performer.

“From ‘Rat Pack’ classics to a ballad completely in Italian, it’s all covered in the EP,” he said. “The project contains four of my most popular vocal hits and two of my most popular saxophone songs.”

But the project is about more than entertainment.

“It tells the story of many modern-day relationships as it progresses through the album,” LeRoy said. “It provides one with the inspiration that even though everyone has obstacles in life, the outcome is worth the battle.”

LeRoy said he has wanted to produce such a project for quite some time. He discovered his opportunity after meeting Peck through Stephen Pishner of All Saints Parish.

“As Stephen was working on producing a liturgical album of his compositions with Jamie, we decided it would be a great opportunity for me to go up to Wheeling – where Jamie Peck Productions are located – and produce my first EP.”

In addition to his past work with Paisley - who is from Moundsville, Peck currently produces local artists and composes and produces music from ABC Family and other major TV networks.

“Jamie has top-of-the-line audio engineering studio technology and is a blast to work with,” LeRoy said. “Hearing his stories of Brad Paisley and winning his Emmy award was amazing.”

“For You” is available for purchase for $5 through LeRoy, who is also available for live local performances.

The BHS graduate performs annually at the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival and associated events. In 2014, he advanced to the finals in West Virginia University’s Mountaineer Idol competition.

On Dec. 1, LeRoy will perform at Bridgeport’s Light Up Night and following that event at an album launch party at Brickside Bar & Grille. He will perform at a second launch party at Mia Margherita – date and time to be determined. Leroy will also sing at Feast of the Seven Fishes in Fairmont, 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
