It's Happening: Photo Essay of Autumn's Arrival in the City

By Julie Perine on October 05, 2014 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

It had been a couple of weeks since I'd been biking. This afternoon, I layered up and hit the trail. Not only was it nearly 40 degrees cooler than the last time I rode, but the scenery had changed also. Trees that were lush with green just several days ago were now tinged with hues of gold, red and orange. And when drenched by the sun's rays, those colors were all the more vibrant. Fall hasn't arrived in full fashion, but it is making its appearance, teasing us with intermittent pops of color. It was a little cold today, but it was so very pretty.
