Legendary BHS Coach Jamison Set for Induction into 2015 State Coaches Association Hall of Fame

In conjunction with the WCHS TV-8/FOX-11 North--South Football Classic, the West Virginia Athletic Coaches Association has announced three new members for its 2015 Hall of Fame class.
 
The 2015 class includes: Carl Fodor, former quarterback at Weir High School and Marshall University; Wayne Jamison, former head football coach at Bridgeport High School; and Larry McClintic, current head football coach at Meadow Bridge High School.
 
Jamison won four state championships with the Indians. He won the 1972 and 1979 Class AAA state championships (opting to play up in Class), while winning Class AA titles in 1986 and 1988. He finished his career with an impressive 230-71 record (.764 winning percentage). He won his games by an average margin of victory of 14.06 points per game.
 
Induction ceremonies will take place on Saturday, June 20 at 1:45 p.m. at West Virginia State University in Institute. Later that evening, the class will be introduced prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff of the North-South Football Classic at Laidley Field in Charleston.
