West Virginia Wesleyan's John Koon, a Bridgeport High School alum and former member of the Indians' baseball team -  is the Mountain East Conference Player of the Week, while Glenville State's Wesley Stauffer is the league's Pitcher of the Week.

Koon, a senior, delivered two walk-off hits for Wesleyan as the Bobcats took three of four games from UVa-Wise. 

After going 2-for-3 with an RBI in the first game of the series, he blasted a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to deliver a 6-5 win for Wesleyan. He came through in the clutch again in the final game of the series with a walk-off single in an 8-7 win over the Cavs.
