Combine firearms and live shooting with the home shopping network and you have a show sure to frequent the TVs in many man caves. The Sportsman Channel’s “Gallery of Guns” is now in its fourth season and with a brand new co-host; a name familiar to the Bridgeport community. Aaron Gallagher will now join co-host Anne-Marie Rhodes in giving consumers a hands-on look at guns and accessories from the industry’s leading manufacturers. Factory representatives and shooting experts, among other guests, will join the co-hosts for the program, which airs weekly.

 

A 2003 graduate of Bridgeport High School, Gallagher is a vocalist and guitarist who has performed solo and with the Chris Hendricks Band. He also decided to delve into a little TV.  

 

“I did a Pepsi commercial with the Carolina Panthers and a NASCAR commercial with Dale Earnhardt Jr. for eBay,” he said. “Then six months ago, my agency (Marilyn’s of Greensboro, NC) called and asked if I was interested in auditioning for this show called ‘Gallery of Guns’ that runs on the Sportsman Channel.”

 

Gallagher’s answer was, “Absolutely. This is probably the most interested I could be in doing any TV show you could approach me with.”

 

He did the audition and shared his shooting experience; including the fact that he’d been shooting since he was a kid and had been taught proper technique and safety by his dad, Rick Gallagher.

 

“We did a couple rounds and filmed a mock episode,” Gallagher said. “We met with the producers and the camera guys and it all went so well.”

 

It was just this week that the news of the new co-host was released. See the YouTube video below. The first episode is likely to air in August.
