BHS Takes Grand Champion Award at WV Dance Line Competition; Video of 1st Place Kick Routine

The Bridgeport High School Danceline was awarded grand champion team at today's West Virginia Danceline Competition held at Lincoln High School. BHS also claimed first place in all five categories: hip-hop, kick, pom, jazz and open, as well as judges' pick and precision awards. Also competing were Lincoln, Robert C. Byrd and North Marion high schools. An excerpt of the team's award-winning kick routine is below. 
 
The team is coached by Cindy Timms Pulice, who provides choreography. Also choreographing one of today's routines was Albert Altovilla. Suzanne Pomeroy Randolph is assistant coach.
 
Members of the 2014-2015 BHS Danceline are seniors and co-captains Megan Blount and Kylie Frame, juniors Hannah Stolzenfels, Madelyn Aloi, Emily Trickett, Kaylissa Lynch and Sarah Reppert; sophomores Autumn Fiest and Sarah Momen and freshmen Sydny Guy, Sophie Lopez, Madison Smith, Erica Baylon, Taylor Frame, Mackenzie Kress and Kim Morris.
