From the MGM Hakkasan to Yogurtland to "Brain Games," Kash Kiefer is Busy in Vegas

He’s been a featured bachelor on “Sweet Home Alabama” and an extra in Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night” video. In addition to reality TV and music, Kash Kiefer has also pursued and found success in professional sports and worldwide modeling.

Now the 2004 Bridgeport High School graduate is appearing on National Geographic Channel’s “Brain Games.”

The episode – in which Kiefer appeared through an audition process – was filmed several months ago. Presently working at the famous Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub and running his own Yogurtland store in the nearby city of Henderson, he said he’s been pretty busy and had actually kind of forgotten the show had yet to air.

Viewers can catch it 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25 on the National Geographic Channel.

As he can say for most every other venture he has pursued, “Brain Games” was a good experience – and this time, a very educational one, at that.

“It’s actually a really cool show. I had never watched it before, but it’s scientific, learning type show that kind of explores different parts of the brain,” Kiefer said. “In my episode, it was about intuition and kind of how the brain plays games on you – how you can tap into your brain kind of deal.”

Named “Battle of the Sexes,” another episode is based around the different thinking patterns of men and women.

It’s all good food for thought, said Kiefer, who appears in the show attempting various challenges.

“I did very well in the episode. I’m anxious to see it,” he said.

Kiefer, who has previously worked at Joe's Crab Shack, Club Malibu, Club Kryptonite and Encore Beach Club, very much likes his job as a beverage runner at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub. Located at the MGM Grand, the restaurant/lounge features five levels and 80,000 square feet of party atmosphere.

“I’m riding this one out as long as I can. It’s a great job,” he said. “I’m a people person so I love hearing everyone’s stories. It’s craziness every weekend – people from different parts of the world coming for girls’ weekends, bachelor parties – you name it. They’re just coming to have a good time.”

Needless to say, he runs across many celebrities, but regardless of who he encounters, Kiefer said his primary goal is the same.

“I just like to put a smile on everyone’s face,” he said.

He’s also able to do that through the operation of his yogurt business, which opened in May.

“I’m doing that with a buddy of mine. It’s a completely new learning experience from top to bottom,” he said. “I learn something new every day and I feel like it’s been a great accomplishment. It’s a lot of hard work, but as I know by now, everything is the first time you do it.’

Also yet to come is the airing of a Toyota commercial, in which Kiefer makes an appearance.
