The City Parks of Clarksburg has announced that chart-topping Christian rock band Casting Crowns are set to perform at the Clarksburg Amphitheater on Saturday, August 13th, 2016. 

 

The GRAMMY and Dove Award winners have sold more then 5 million records and have smashed Billboard records, became one of the most played artists on Christian Radio and are the second fastest Christian band in history to have their 1st two albums certified platinum.

 

The band has cracked the Christian Billboard Charts “Top 10” 18 times since 2003 with 9 of those becoming No. 1 singles. The band is most known for their hits such as “Praise Your In This Storm”, “Who Am I”, “Voice of Truth”, “East to West”, and “Glorious Day”.

 

John Cooper, Superintendent of Parks, said, “Last year, we ended the season hosting our very first Christian rock band, MercyMe, which sold out and actually broke our attendance record for the venue. We heard that message loud and clear from the community and couldn’t be more excited to bring you this phenomenal band. We’re expecting a great turn out for this event!”

 

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 and are expected to sell quickly. There is no pre-sale scheduled for this event.

Advance tickets will be just $26 for general admission, $31 for reserved seating and $36 for premium seating, which will include the first 7 rows from the stage. Day-of-Show tickets will increase $5 for each section and will be available at the venue unless they sell out prior to the event.
